Monthly delivery distribution to families in India by a Shez Care Foundation volunteer
In our efforts to eradicate world hunger, we have served over 513,000 meals to 547 poverty-stricken individuals between 2012 and 2021.
We have covered the following regions on the Indian subcontinent:
Apart from India, we plan to extended our efforts in tackling world hunger in the U.S., Pakistan, and other countries in need.
While charitable, providing families suffering from chronic hunger with one-time meals is of limited benefit. This is why our sustainable food security approach to ending hunger is essential to making a lasting change.
In 2021, we developed a mobile application that our organization utilizes to:
We plan to use this application to build the database of families in need and provide it to other Non-profit organizations to use as a tool in their efforts to locate the necessity for aid.
Our surveyors use the application to create profiles and store details provided by the donee regarding living situation, family members, health conditions, and specific needs. Then, the app will calculate the quantity and type of food that is appropriate to meet the households needs.
Our organization utilizes this data to make monthly deliveries based on the donee needs using the monetary donations we receive. This process and the completion of the delivery is validated and confirmed by facial recognition of the individuals or families receiving the donation.
2. Database displays needs based on donee profile.
3. Carry out food distribution.
4. Validate and confirm distribution via Facial recognition.
