Shez Care Foundation - Working to End Food Insecurities
Activities
Currently, our activities primarily focus on providing food assistance to people in need in the United States and around the world. We have volunteers in 3 countries so far who deliver food to the families in our database, people who might otherwise slip under the radar. Our ground surveyors visit villages and neighborhoods where resources and opportunities are limited and they build a database of families in dire need.
We also plan to fund and facilitate improvement in:
Currently, our surveyors include data on each family member’s health and if there is a need for medical attention. As we move forward this information will allow people to donate towards healthcare or aid organizations who specialize in this area.
Living conditions are noted in each donee’s profile. If there is an immediate or dire need for assistance, we plan to connect donations towards shelter.
Many of the impoverished neighborhoods are also lacking in educational opportunities; whether it be due to money, resources or other impacts of poverty and hunger. We are connected to organizations who focus on providing families with access to education and plan to extend this to whomever wishes to donate towards this cause.
